Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data the Windowseat website collects, why we collect it and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Mondre runs this website and is responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist. We use it to tell you when Windowseat launches and to give you your founding-flyer perks, such as your free flight pass.
- Visit information, when you open the page: your IP address, your approximate country (worked out from your IP address), the page you visited, the website that sent you, campaign tags in the link (such as
utm_source), your browser and device type, and the time of your visit. We use it to understand where visitors come from and to protect the site from abuse. - Usage analytics, only if you agree. With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the page, such as clicks, scrolling and session recordings. Microsoft processes this data for us. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Cookies and storage
- Necessary: a session cookie (
windowseat-session) and a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN), so the signup form works securely. - Analytics: Microsoft Clarity cookies (such as
_clckand_clsk), set only after you click "Accept".
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
Why we're allowed to use it
- Waitlist email: your consent, which you give when you join. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Visit information: our legitimate interest in running, measuring and protecting this website.
- Usage analytics: your consent.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist email: until you ask us to delete it or we close the waitlist.
- Visit information: 12 months, after which it's deleted automatically.
- Usage analytics: kept by Microsoft according to Clarity's retention rules.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run this website, such as our hosting and network providers, and Microsoft for Clarity if you agree to analytics. Some providers may process data outside the European Union, with safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to send you a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Just email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
